English as a Second Language (ESL)

 
English as a Second Language (ESL) provides non-English speaking adults with the practical application of speaking, reading, and writing English.
 
South San Francisco Adult Education tests and places all students to ensure that they are registered in the appropriate class for their level: beginning, intermediate, or advanced.
 
ESL students at the SSF Adult Education campus receive computer assisted learning each week.

Class registration is first come, first served.  If you do not get a class assignment then we will put you on a waiting list.

GENERAL ESL CLASSES:
All ESL classes teach reading, writing, listening and speaking.  You will take a placement test at the orientation so we can put you in the correct class.
