Office Assistant Pathway and Medical Terminology
South San Francisco Adult Education (SSFAE) can help individuals get a head start on a career or train them for a new one.
The Office Assistant Pathway provides training in current office technology. The classes uses the Integrated Education and Training model so students improve their technology and English skills at the same time.
The Medical Terminology is designed to give students a basic background in medical terminology as used by medical transcriptionists, court reporters, law related occupations, and allied health occupations. The prefixes, roots, and suffixes of commonly used medical words are presented. Proper names of anatomical structures and their relationship to each other are covered by body system.
