MOT 2 Internet Basics
Internet Basics (MOT 2) is an introduction to basic technology as it relates to business and home use.
The course introduces students to the following topics:
- Data Communications
- File Management
- Google Account
- Google Chrome
- Google Calendar
- Google Classroom
- Google Drive
- Google Keep
- Google Maps
- Internet Safety
- Jamboard
- Terminology
- World Wide Web
- Zoom
Students must complete a 60-minute placement test before registering for the Internet Basics course.
A score of 80-100%: will result in placement in the MOT 3 Office Productivity course.
A score of 50-79% will result in placement in the MOT 2 Internet Basics course.
A score of 0-49% will result in placement in the MOT 1 Digital Literacy course.
